Not much to say for this week. I’ve been working on creating a basic maze with opengl that I’m going to throw some physics in later. Right now I’m working on just getting it up and running. I’ll add texture maps to it as soon as I’ve double checked to make sure I have no holes or gaps in between walls. I’m still working on the Half Life portion but it is definitely on the back burner since I can’t seem to figure out why the image is flickering between a red box and the actual image. I’m assuming the red box is appearing because the textures/mdl files aren’t in the right spot, but since it does appear randomly that can’t entirely be the case. More than likely its something one or two little things that I’ve missed and will shoot myself when I figure it out. Its been set aside since we’re about to hit the middle of the semester so I’m going to start banging out a final project and not bandy about looking for an error.

I’m not sure if this relates to your flickering problem:

hahahahaha isn’t programming great? Watch it’ll be something like not swapping the buffer or slowing down the frame rate.
