Since the last update, I’ve made it through spring break and started working on a small physics game. The basic premise is you’ve got a cannon and you’re trying to launch a shot onto/into a target/box. I’m planning on it being very similar to Gorillas for Qbasic (one of the first games I ever played). You’ll be able to change the elevation of the cannon and the force with which it shoots, and I’m toying with allowing several different gravity constants so that the shot falls at differing rates. Its coming along nicely, but I still think its in an early stage and I haven’t actually prettified anything with a background or textures yet. That’ll come along later. I’ve also played a bit with the maze and am working on adding a wireframe mode and am toying with throwing in some lights to provide some ambiance. Some of the code is on my repository and I’ll post some screenshots when I get some good results.

Sounds fun…I was a big fan of Gorilla myself.
