I’ve been steadily working over the past week to just refine and tweak what I’ve currently got. I’ve made a few small adjustments to the maze and cannon, although I’m still trying to figure out collision detection in the cannon. For those of you who haven’t heard, until I get raytracing working I’ve got bounding box collision detection, but when the rubber ball is moving slower than the box it has trouble detecting whether or not it started outside of the box and so the ball rolls through the box albeit incredibly slowly. As a break from that, I created new menu images so a user can now tell which game they have selected. Lastly, I began working on terrain generation for our last game, a shooter. As of now it compiles and runs, but the terrain does not render correctly. It comes out as bundles of lines repeating randomly across the screen instead of a series of triangle strips. As soon as I iron that out, I’ll post some screenshots.
